When it comes to Etsy listing views, knowing when to make changes can be just as important as creating a beautiful product.

Before you panic and start changing your Etsy listing, there's one number you need to check: your views.

Here's a rule from my latest coaching call that surprised a few people:

How Many Etsy Listing Views Do You Need

Someone asked me why her gorgeous Etsy listing "wasn't converting."

It had 23 views.

That's not necessarily a conversion problem.

That's simply not enough data to make a confident decision yet.

In my experience, listings can sit quietly at 80 or 90 views, then suddenly pick up two or three sales.

So before you start changing everything, check your listing views first.

Under 100 views?

Give it some time. Let it cook! Of course, 100 isn't a magic number, but it's a useful starting point.

Over 100 views with no sales?

NOW it's worth taking a closer look at your thumbnail, title, pricing and

overall presentation.

The lesson?

Diagnose with data, not feelings.

Don't give up on a digital product before you've given it a fair chance

to find its buyers.
